I’m a Creative Director and Designer based in New York, and have spent the last thirteen years helping to bring brands to life through strategic design.
I don’t like fluff or clutter; I aim to make things that resonate with people using an executional style which is honest and direct. In a digital context that means working to overcome the default distance, half-life, and impersonal nature of interactions, in order to create things that are able to sit comfortably in their digital skin whilst still being able to connect deeply with their audience. The result is something that often leans minimal in appearance, but is filled with nuance and care in all the right places.

Fiction is a reading tracker app built on a simple idea: digital tools should foster deeper, more meaningful connections - not distractions. It helps readers focus on actually finishing the books that matter to them, all wrapped in a streamlined design that stays out of the way.
Forging Close Connections
I created Fiction with one core belief in mind: technology shouldn’t distance us from what we love—it should bring us closer. By stripping away excess features, Fiction becomes more than a stats tool—it’s an invitation to read mindfully, reflect on what you learn, and grow with every page.
From Research to Reality
I started with extensive research: surveys, interviews, and competitor analysis to uncover the true pain points of fellow readers. The findings were clear: existing apps often felt clunky or soulless. With this in mind, I focused on developing an interface that’s both easy to use and laser-focused on real reader needs.
